QR Codes
A QR code (Quick Response code) is a type of barcode first designed for the automotive industry. It's been big in Japan for quite a while, broke into Europe a while back, and is now getting traction in the USA. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded can be made up of any kind of data (e.g., URL, a phone number, an SMS message, V-Card data or just plain alphanumeric text). A portable device such as a cell phone with a reader application can scan the QR code for importation to your device or direct connection to you via your website, phone, etc. Use of the QR code should eliminate human error when transcribing the information, so when a person calls or goes to your website they get you and not someone else. A QR code can be included on our printed or media products.
